  • HERNANDO URRUTIA (PT) Multidisciplinary Artist, Researcher, Filmmaker, Music Composer, and University Professor in Multimedia and Arts (Applied Computing and Digital Video Technologies) “Portucalense” University – Porto. Several times awarded, he has been exhibiting professionally since 1986, as well as participating in several projects and more than 500 group exhibitions and 17 solo exhibitions in 40 countries. Since 1990, he has made 26 sound productions and soundtracks for short films. He has founded several bands and music groups and has shared stages with dozens of groups, both as a permanent and guest musician. He is represented in more than 220 important Public Collections and in more than 180 Private Collections. He has been published in more than 150 books, magazines, newspapers and catalogues.

    Hugo Olim (PT) was born in Machico, Madeira Island, in 1978. He works in the field of visual arts, with a focus on the mediums of video and photography. The aim of his practice is to explore the diverse nature of imagery and its relationship with sound, time, space and technology. He has a PhD in Audiovisuals at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. He lives and works in Madeira.

    Vítor Joaquim (PT) is a researcher, teacher, electronic experimentalist, and audiovisual artist. Since the mid 80’s, he has created extensively for dance, theatre, video, installations and crossed media platforms. Several times awarded, he has releases 17 albuns mostly focusing experimental electronics and ambient drone music genres. His ​​sound sculptures and installations have been presented in several art galleries as well as several intermedia pieces were presented using video mapping, video art and performance. At MADEIRADiG 22, he has been creating the piece GRAVITAS – a site specific sound sculpture within an artistic residency context.
